Intimidated area in a National Park! :)
- Berchtesgaden 2009

Have you ever visited the place, where the true nature takes over the urbanized cities, where you can completely forget about your problems and just enjoy the life? If not, I can recommend you the best place to do it – the mountains. In my case – the Alps! Really magic places where the oldest spirits of the world seem to have been living for centuries, preserving some secrets and riddles of this world, secrets of beauty that will never die and will charm more and more with everyday.
My acquaintance with this gorgeous land started with getting to know the capital city of Bavaria - Munich. A wonderful city with nice architecture, friendly people and the best beer opens the gate to the wonders of the mountain land.
The next stop of my great trip was a national park Berchtesgaden. Three weeks with wonderful people, far away from the civilization – it was really great! Work was just a background for the the intercultural exchange, having fun and just enjoying our free time. Hiking in the mountains almost everyday, enjoying the landscape; baths in crystal clear, freezing mountain water; exploration to wonderful waterfalls in the forest; boat trips on the lakes and a glass of hot beer in the evening near the fire just to keep the memories of the day. And later - sleeping outside on the grass, looking at the thousands of stars and it seems that you can just take one and hold it to warm up. At this moment you have this feeling of being completely free and happy. The feeling everyone would like to keep for the whole life…
Every wonderful moment of a life has to pass. Otherwise we wouldn’t wait with impatience to other one. So passed these amazing weeks in the Alps. But it wasn’t the end! It was just the beginning of another journey! Our life is a trip, you can never know where the road may lead you. Sometimes what appears to be wonderful, ends in disaster, and some of what we dread the most can end up bringing us unexpected joy. You may never know what lies ahead, but hopefully you can look behind and be truly happy with the richness of the journey you've experienced.
