- Supporting with the care and supervision of children and youth with a mental or physical disability in a therapeutic pedagogy and anthroposophy oriented community.
Tornsbjerggaard (Hundslund)
- Accompanying and supporting adults with a psychological disability in a living and working community based on anthroposophical ideas with various workshops (weaving mill, pottery, garden).
Midgaard (Fünen)
- Accompanying and supporting people with disabilities in an anthroposophical residential and working community. (Minimum age: 20 years old)
Bildungszentrum (Rodekro)
- Assistance in an education, meeting and recreation centre of the German minority in Southern Denmark. This centre is used by groups from Germany, Denmark and other European countries. Supporting guests, organisation of activities and helping out with all general work.

- Supporting staff with supervision and care, providing social skills during class etc.
Home for children and young adults without parents
- Assistance in supervision and organisation of leisure activities for the residents, some of whom have physical or intellectual disabilities.

Integration centre for youth (Beauvoisin, Montendre)
- Assistance with the supervision and support of the socially disadvantaged youth, aiding with craft projects and ecological projects.
L'Arche – a christian living and working community for people with disabilities (Trosly, Breuil, Courbillac, Beauvais, Ambleteuse etc.)
- Living and working in a community for people with and without physical or intellectual disabilities. Assistance in the care, supervision and organisation of leisure activities of inhabitants, also aiding with gardening and manual work.
Educational facilities for groups of children and youth (Neuwiller-les-Savernes, Niederbronn-les-Bains)
- Development of a one or more day learning event for school classes with a focus on: history, archeology, aiding with the serving of food and with manual work.
Homes for people with an intellectual or physical disability (Cernay)
- Assistance with the care, supervision and organisation of leisure activities for the inhabitants of the home.
Facilities for the care and support of people without a permanent place of residence (Lille)
- Assistance in a home for people without a permanent place of residence (also for people who have committed criminal offenses), support in the serving of food, possibly also helping with nursing or with janitorial duties.

GER-Mani (Gythio)
- Assistance in a community based project for German youth, who have no possibility of living with their family anymore. Volunteers help with the development of a community centre and guest house, with the agricultural part of the project and in the workshop (wood, electronic and sanitary section).

AKIM – facility for disabled people (Jerusalem)
- Support and assistance for people with disabilities in living communities, a residential home and a primary school for mentally disabled children, supporting with the daily routine, accompaniment during recreational activities and outings, supervision of primary school children during the afternoon programmes, depending on the disability also helping with nursing activities.
ALYN Hospital – children's clinic (Jerusalem)
- Supporting clinic staff in daily routine tasks, nursing and supporting activities like helping with eating, showering, assistance during recreational activities of patients.
Carmel Medical Center – hospital (Haifa)
- Supporting clinic staff with daily routine tasks, nursing and personal assistance of patients, performing an ECG test, assistance in an international team.
French Hospital – hospital (Jerusalem)
- Assistance in the St. Louis Hospital, a hospice for the terminally ill and a care facility for chronically ill people and other patients, supporting hospital staff in their daily work, assistance in a large multinational team.
Kfar Hassidim youth village (near Haifa)
- Assistance in an (orthodox) youth village, manual and agricultural tasks on the premises, supporting in the kitchen, supervision of children and youth, possibly assistance in the school (teaching English).
Kibbutz Lotan (South of Israel)
- Assistance in a kibbutz situated in the desert Negev, where 200 people live in a community. In the kibbutz many projects and activities in the fields of environmental protection and ecological agriculture are offered. Volunteers' tasks especially include assistance in the cowshed, in the dairy and support with the care of the cows.
Kindergarten Kibbutz Lotan (South of Israel)
- Care for children aged between three months and six years. The volunteers' tasks include looking after the children, helping with games and activities, and preparing events and celebrations.
Ecological Centre Kibbutz Lotan (South of Israel)
- The volunteers guide tourists through the centre of the kibbutz, write articles (in German) and publish content on social media.
Loewenstein Rehabilitation Hospital (Ra`anana)
- Assistance of hospital staff in their daily tasks, accompanying patients to their therapy sessions and medical treatments, supporting with the food service, supporting with food intake, assistance at the reception area.

- Working together with the social workers, organising cultural activities for senior citizens, taking part in workshops, assistance with shopping and assistance with nursing, distribution of meals, administrative work.
Casa Nogaré/ Casa Clero/ Casa Perez – retirement home (Verona)
- Social support for elderly people in retirement homes and for people with mental and physical disabilities. Assistance in daily routines, distribution of meals, animation, outings, transport and accompaniment to church services.
Cooperativa sociale Kaleidoscopio (Trento)
- Working in the sector of social and pedagogical activities with children and youth aged between 3 and 18 years. Field of activities include activities after and during school as well as in the recreational area.
Cooperativa Verlata (Villaverla near Verona)
- Social support and training for people with disabilities, assistance in the day centre and support with tasks in daily routines.
Disabilty assistance at a university (Padua)
- Assistance for students with a disability in their daily life at university: picking them up at home, accompanying them to lectures and to the canteen.
Istituto Don Calabria (Rom)
- Social support for people with disabilities and people in need, assistance in distribution of meals, assistance in the day centre as well support during recreational activities and tasks in daily routines.
SOS Children's Village (Saronno)
- Assistance of children to school and accompanying them during recreational activities, helping them with their homework, organising leisure activities (drawing, sport, games etc.), helping in the kitchen: shopping, doing the dishes, preparing of meals.
Venerabile Confraternita di Misericordia (Sinalunga, Tuscany)
- Active in transport: accompaniment of senior citizens and people with disabilities to doctors, other appointments and to clinics, helping with shopping of groceries, medication etc.
Piccola Fratenita di Porto Legnago (near Verona)
Support, care and assistance for people with disabilities in leisure activities, workshops and supportive measures.
South Tyrolean Children's Village (Brixen)
- Work in the children's and youth housing communities, in mobile family work and/or in the home for single mothers. Fields of work are, for example, assistance and support in the everyday life of the children/young people and in the everyday life of the women.

The programme IJFD in Japan runs in cooperation with the German Japanese Peace Forum Berlin (Deutsch-Japanisches Friedensforum Berlin e.V.) and under the patronage of the German Embassy in Tokyo.
Akane (Himeji, Amagasaki near Osaka)
- The sponsor Akane has a number of institutions for senior citizens in both towns. The main tasks include cleaning, preparing and serving of meals, support with recreational activities of users of the facilities as well as assistance with the care of senior citizens.
Dejima Kunikusa (Hiroshima)
- Assistance in an old age home (long and short-term care). The main task includes the assistance during recreational activities for residents of the nursing home and for those people who use the facilities of the day care centre connected to the old age home.
International Gospel League/IGL (Hiroshima)
- Working in a kindergarten and day care centre of the IGL, assistance during the daily routine, helping the educators. As the IGL is in charge of a number of facilities, volunteers work half the time in a kindergarten and the other half in a day care centre.
Kyoto Utano Youth Hostel, Osaka International Youth Hostel & Shin-Osaka Youth Hostel
- Assistance in the youth hostel, assistance with the organisation and maintenance in the house (cleaning duties, room cleaning), giving information to travelers, assistance during children's', youth and youth group's outdoor activities.
Kusanomi Picthouse (Hatsukaichi near Hiroshima)
- Workshop for people with disabilities. The volunteer supports the staff of the workshop in the daily routines with the people with disabilities, e.g. with the baking of cakes and biscuits, woodwork, weaving and vegetable growing.
Mori No Kobo AMA (Hirsohima)
- Workshop for people with disabilities. Volunteers support the staff of the workshop for people with disabilities during the daily routines.
WING - Way Into the New Generation (Osaka)
- The non-profit organisation WING has three day care centres in the urban area of Osaka. This organisation is concentrated mainly on the work with people with severe multiple disabilities. Volunteers support the institution in helping to enable a life that goes beyond a mere basic nursing care for the people in the day care centre.
Due to the aftermaths of the earthquake, the tsunami and the resulting power plant accidents, the continuation of projects since the cycle 2011-2012 in the regions Kansai and Hiroshima have been limited. The allocations for the cycle 2015-2016 will be expanded as soon as the security situation allows it.

- Assistance and support in a sports club for people with disabilities, various sport disciplines, leisure, training groups, assistance in the office. Important: the minimum age requirement is 19 years and knowledge of HTML is a requirement.
Casa de Los Amigos (San Diego, CA)
- Assistance in two small residential facilities for people with disabilities (children, youth and adults); realisation of social activities such as reading, playing, accompanying of small or large excursions or to sport activities or therapies; preparation of meals and assistance with food intake.

- A circus project for children and youth, assistance of circus groups, carrying out activities. Important: you need to have practical experience and knowledge of the work in a circus.

- Training centre and community centre of the religious community of Quakers, assistance in the garden and the kitchen as well as taking care of guests. Important: the minimum age requirement lies at 19 years and you need to have a driver's license.
Project Hospitality (New York City, NY)
- Facility for socially disadvantaged people in Staten Island; fundraising, soup kitchen, various campaigns for public relations work. Important: you need to be male and over 19 to take part in this programme and having a driver's license is a requirement.
