How to Participate:
- Follow us on Instagram to stay updated on the contest details and future workcamp opportunities.
- Choose your most captivating photos that reflects the essence of your workcamp experiences and share them on your Instagram feed as a post or reel. Don’t forget to mention @ijgd_workcamps and use the hashtag #ijgdworkcamp2023 in your caption
- If you don´t want to post photos in your feed, send them to us via e-mail: workcamps-@~@ijgd$~$;de or via messenger (WhatsApp/Signal/Telegram) as file: +49 163 242 6432
Contest Duration:
The Contest begins on 24.07.2023 at 12 pm and ends on 24.10.2023 at 12 pm. Winners will be announced on 05.11.2023 on our Instagram page and contacted via direct messages/email.
Prizes:
- 1st place: 1 x ijgd hoodie
- 2nd place: ijgd camping set (1 x lunch box and 1 x cup)
- 3rd place: 1 x ijgd notebook and 1 x ijgd keychain
Judging:
We will choose 6 winners:
- Our Workcamp team will evaluate all the received photos and choose 3, that represent the Workcamp spirit the most. Visual composition, overall aesthetic appeal, emotional impact, creativity, and relevance to the theme are important.
- The other 3 winners will be chosen by the Instagram users. The more engagement your post or reel receives, the higher your chances of winning. Posts and/or reels with the greatest number of likes on Instagram will win.
Contest Guidelines:
- Only original photos taken during one of our workcamps or a workcamp where ijgd was a sending organisation in 2023 are eligible
- Captions should include the name of the workcamp
- Participants‘ profile on Instagram should be public, at least for the duration of the contest
- High-quality and visually striking photos will stand out. Originality and unique perspectives are encouraged
- Participants must ensure they have permission from every individuals featured in the photos

Lasst eure Fotos die Geschichte deines Workcamps erzählen, zeigt anderen welche Erfahrungen ihr gemacht habt und inspiriert Menschen dazu, sich in einem Workcamp zu engagieren.

- Unser Workcamp-Team wird alle eingegangenen Fotos bewerten und drei auswählen, die den Workcamp-Geist am besten repräsentieren. Die visuelle Komposition, der ästhetische Gesamteindruck, die emotionale Wirkung, die Kreativität und der Bezug zum Thema sind wichtig.
- Die anderen drei Gewinner*innen werden von den Instagram-Nutzer*innen ausgewählt. Je mehr Engagement dein Beitrag oder Reel erhält, desto höher sind deine Gewinnchancen. Die Beiträge und/oder Reels mit den meisten Likes auf Instagram gewinnen.
Richtlinien für den Wettbewerb:
- Nur Originalfotos, die während eines unserer Workcamps oder eines Workcamps, bei dem ijgd eine entsendende Organisation war, im Jahr 2023 aufgenommen wurden, können teilnehmen.
- Die Bildunterschriften sollten den Namen des Workcamps enthalten
- Dein Profil auf Instagram sollte zumindest für die Dauer des Wettbewerbs öffentlich sein.
- Wir freuen uns auf deine einzigartige Perspektive!
- Du musst sicherstellen, dass du die Erlaubnis aller auf den Fotos abgebildeten Personen hast.

Terms and Conditions – Photo Contest
Participation in the Photo Contest and its execution are subject to the following provisions.
§1 Photo Contest
- The Federal Association of the International Youth Voluntary Services (hereinafter referred to as “ijgd”) is the organiser of the contest and responsible for conducting the contest.
- An individual takes part in the contest by uploading photos to their Instagram account as a post or a reel, adding the hashtag #ijgdworkcamp2023 and mentioning @ijgd_workcamps, or by sending photos via email or messenger to ijgd. Participation in the contest takes place within the time frame mentioned in the current terms and conditions. The hashtag #ijgdworkcamp2023 will be used to verify whether posts and reels are submitted within the specified time frame. Participants of the contest are not asked to disclose any additional data (email address, address, etc.).
- Every individual who takes part in the contest via Instagram must follow @ijgd_workcamps on Instagram for the duration of the contest.
- Only the photos taken in one of the ijgd workcamps or in a workcamp where ijgd was a sending organisation are eligible for the contest. Every participant of the contest must mention the name of the workcamp in their post and/or reel. The photos must depict a workcamp that took place in 2023.
§2 Participants
All individuals who participated in the ijgd workcamps in 2023 or in a workcamp where ijgd was a sending organisation in 2023 are eligible to participate in the contest.
§ 3 Exclusion from the Contest
- In case of a violation of the current terms and conditions, ijgd reserves the right to exclude individuals from the contest.
- Individuals who use the photos without the permission of their owners, or the photos that violate the rules of Instagram will be excluded from the contest.
- Posts and reels without tags will not be considered by the ijgd.
§ 4 Implementation and Execution
- First of all, participation in the contest is possible via Instagram. Another option is to send photos via email to workcamps-@~@ijgd$~$;de or via messenger such as WhatsApp/ Signal/ Telegram to +49 163 242 6432.
- Every photo that is tagged with #ijgdworkcamp2023 will be considered as a part of the contest and will be judged according to the current terms and conditions. Participation in the contest is voluntary.
- The winners of the contest will be chosen in two different ways. First of all, the judges (who will be represented by the employees of the ijgd workcamp department) will pick out three most beautiful photos among all the photos that will be sent to ijgd via email and messengers. Additionally, three posts and/or reels with the most likes on Instagram (at the end of the contest – 13.10.2023 at 12.00) will win.
- Three photos selected by the judges as well as three posts and/or reels with the most likes on Instagram will receive the following prizes:
- place: 1 x ijgd hoodie (burgundy, blue);
- place: 1 x camping set (1 x ijgd lunch box and 1 x ijgd mug);
- place: 1 x ijgd lanyard and 1 x ijgd notepad.
- The photo contest lasts from July 24, 2023 (12 pm) to October 24, 2023 (12 pm). The winners will be announced on November 5, 2023, and contacted by ijgd.
§ 5 Copyright
Participants of the contest guarantee that they have all the rights to the submitted photos as well as unlimited usage rights to all parts of the photos, and that the photos are free from third-party rights. When individuals are recognisable in the submitted photos, ijgd assumes that participants of the contest have permission for the photo release from those individuals. If necessary, participants of the contest must be able to confirm this in writing upon request. Should third parties make claims due to a violation of their rights, the participant will release the organiser (ijgd) from all claims. Digitally edited photos must not contain parts of magazines, books, purchased CDs, etc.
§ 6 Early Termination of the Photo Contest
ijgd reserves the right to cancel or terminate the photo contest at any time without prior notice and without stating reasons. ijgd will exercise this possibility, in particular, if a proper execution of the photo contest cannot be guaranteed for technical or legal reasons.
§ 7 Liability
ijgd assumes no liability for the loss or possible damage to the submitted photos.
§ 8 Granting of Rights
- Every participant grants ijgd the non-exclusive rights of use, unlimited in terms of time and content, including the right to edit the submitted photos for the purposes of ijgd's public relations work. For the participants below 18 years old, the consent of the legal guardian is required.
- There is no obligation for ijgd to check photos submitted by participants of the contest and participants’ liabilities for the content of the photos.
§ 9 Content
The photos submitted as part of the contest must not be considered obscene, offensive, defamatory, ethically objectionable, promoting violence, pornographic, harassing, unsuitable for minors, racist, inciting hatred, xenophobic, far-right, and/or otherwise objectionable. Submitting such photos can lead to exclusion from the contest according to § 3 of the current terms and conditions.
§ 10 Data Protection
- To participate in the contest via Instagram, it is essential to register as a public profile on Instagram and accept its terms and conditions. Participants are free to remove the tags #ijgdworkcamp2023 and @ijgd_workcamps, thus withdrawing from participation in the contest.
- The data submitted by the participants can be disclosed to the third parties, such as magazine editors or exhibition organizers, if the photos are published as part of the photo contest (news coverage, award ceremony, etc.). Participants expressly agree to this.
§ 11 Legal Recourse
Legal recourse is excluded.
AGB Fotowettbewerb
Die Teilnahme am Fotowettbewerb und dessen Durchführung richtet sich nach den folgenden Bestimmungen.
§ 1 Fotowettbewerb
- Der Fotowettbewerb wird von den Internationalen Jugendgemeinschaftsdiensten (ijgd) – Bundesverein e.V. (im Folgenden „ijgd“ genannt) durchgeführt.
- Ein*Eine Teilnehmer*in nimmt am Fotowettbewerb teil, indem er*sie auf dem eigenen Instagram Account Bilder als ein Post oder Reel hochlädt und dieses mit dem Tag #ijgdworkcamp2023 sowie @ijgd_workcamps versieht oder die Bilder per E-Mail oder über Messenger anreicht. Die Teilnahme hat innerhalb der im Fotowettbewerb genannten Frist zu erfolgen. Zur Überprüfung der Fristwahrung dient der Eingang bei Instagram durch taggen des Bildes mit #ijgdworkcamp2023. Der*Die Teilnehmer*in gibt keine weiteren Daten (E-Mail-Adresse, Adresse, etc.) preis.
- Jede*r Teilnehmer*in, der*die über Instagram die Beiträge eingereicht hat, muss zum Zeitpunkt des ijgd Fotowettbewerbs @ijgd_workcamps auf Instagram folgen.
- Die Bilder müssen in einem ijgd-Workcamp oder in einem von den ijgd vermittelten Workcamp gemacht worden sein. Jede*r Teilnehmer*in muss den Namen des Workcamp mit dem Bild veröffentlichen. Das abgebildete Workcamp hat in 2023 stattgefunden.
§ 2 Teilnehmer*innen
Teilnahmeberechtigt sind alle, die 2023 an einem ijgd-Workcamp oder an einem von den ijgd vermittelten Workcamp teilgenommen haben.
§ 3 Ausschluss vom Fotowettbewerb
- Bei einem Verstoß gegen diese Teilnahmebedingungen behalten sich die ijgd das Recht vor, Personen vom Fotowettbewerb auszuschließen.
- Ausgeschlossen werden Personen, die unerlaubtes Bildmaterialen verwenden oder solches, welches gegen die Regeln von Instagram verstößt.
- Unberücksichtigt bleibt Bildmaterial, das nicht ordnungsgemäß getaggt wurde.
§ 4 Durchführung und Abwicklung
- Die Teilnahme ist über Instagram möglich. Die Beiträge können auch per Email an workcamps-@~@ijgd$~$;de oder über Messenger (+49 163 242 6432 - WhatsApp/Signal/Telegram) geschickt werden.
- Jedes über Instagram mit #ijgdworkcamp2023 getagte Bild steht ab Veröffentlichung gemäß den Wettbewerbsbedingungen zur Bewertung zur Verfügung. Ein Anspruch auf Veröffentlichung besteht nicht.
- Die Gewinner*innen des Fotowettbewerbs werden auf zwei Arten ausgewählt. Die Jury wählt drei der schönsten Fotos aus, die eingereicht wurden (die Jury bestehen aus dem Mitarbeiter*innen des Workcamp-Bereichs der ijgd). Außerdem gewinnen zusätzlich die drei Bilder (Posts und/oder Reels) mit den meisten Likes auf Instagram (zum Zeitpunkt der Einreichungsfrist am 13.10.2023 um 12:00).
- Die drei von der Jury ausgewählten Bilder ebenso wie die drei Posts und/oder Reels mit den meisten Likes auf Instagram werden die folgenden Preise erhalten
- Platz: 1 x ijgd-Hoodie (burgundy oder blau)
- Platz: 1 x ein Camping-Set (1 x ijgd-Brotdose und 1 x ijgd-Becher);
- Platz: 1 x ijgd-Schlüsselband und 1 x ijgd-Notizblock.
- Der Fotowettbewerb dauert vom 24.07.2023 (12 Uhr) bis 24.10.2023 (12 Uhr). Die Gewinner*innen werden am 05.11.2023 bekannt gegeben und von den ijgd kontaktiert.
§ 5 Urheberrechte
Der*Die Teilnehmer*in versichert, dass er*sie über alle Rechte am eingereichten Bild verfügt, die uneingeschränkten Verwertungsrechte aller Bildteile hat, dass das Bild frei von Rechten Dritter ist sowie bei der Darstellung von Personen keine Persönlichkeitsrechte verletzt werden. Falls auf dem Bild eine oder mehrere Personen erkennbar abgebildet sind, müssen die Betreffenden damit einverstanden sein, dass das Bild veröffentlicht wird. Der*Die Teilnehmer*in wird Vorstehendes auf Wunsch schriftlich versichern. Sollten dennoch Dritte Ansprüche wegen Verletzung ihrer Rechte geltend machen, so stellt der*die Teilnehmer*in den Veranstalter von allen Ansprüchen frei. Am Computer bearbeitete Fotos dürfen keine Bildteile aus Zeitschriften, Büchern, gekauften CDs usw. enthalten.
§ 6 Vorzeitige Beendigung des Fotowettbewerbs
Die ijgd behalten sich das Recht vor, den Fotowettbewerb zu jedem Zeitpunkt ohne Vorankündigung und ohne Angabe von Gründen abzubrechen oder zu beenden. Von dieser Möglichkeit machen die ijgd insbesondere dann Gebrauch, wenn aus technischen Gründen oder aus rechtlichen Gründen eine ordnungsgemäße Durchführung des Fotowettbewerbs nicht gewährleistet werden kann.
§ 7 Haftung
Die ijgd übernehmen keine Haftung für den Verlust oder eventuelle Beschädigungen an den eingereichten Bildern.
§ 8 Rechtseinräumung
- Jede*r Teilnehmer*in räumt den ijgd mit Einsendung die räumlich, zeitlich und inhaltlich unbeschränkten, nicht ausschließlichen Nutzungsrechte einschließlich dem Recht zur Bearbeitung an den eingesandten Bildern im Rahmen der Öffentlichkeitsarbeit der ijgd ein. Bei Personen unter 18 Jahren gilt das Einverständnis des Erziehungsberechtigten.
- Es besteht keine Prüfungspflicht der ijgd für die Beiträge der Nutzer/Verantwortlichkeit des Nutzers für die von ihm gelieferten Inhalte.
§ 9 Inhalte
Die im Rahmen des Fotowettbewerbs eingereichten Bilder dürfen nicht als obszön, beleidigend, diffamierend, ethisch anstößig, gewaltverherrlichend, pornografisch, belästigend, für Minderjährige ungeeignet, rassistisch, volksverhetzend, ausländerfeindlich, rechtsradikal und/oder als sonst verwerflich anzusehen sein. Der Upload entsprechender Bilder kann den Ausschluss vom Fotowettbewerb gemäß § 3 dieser Teilnahmebedingungen nach sich ziehen.
§ 10 Datenschutz
- Um am Fotowettbewerb via Instagram teilnehmen zu können, ist es unerlässlich, sich bei Instagram als öffentliches Profil zu registrieren und dessen AGBs anzunehmen. Es steht den Teilnehmenden frei, den Tag #ijgdworkcamp2023 sowie @ijgd_workcamps wieder zu entfernen und somit von der Teilnahme zurückzutreten.
- Die von den Einsender*innen eingereichten Daten werden bei einer Veröffentlichung der Bilder im Rahmen des Fotowettbewerbs (Berichterstattung hierüber, Preisverleihung etc.) an beteiligte Dritte weitergegeben, etwa an Zeitschriftenredaktionen oder Ausstellungsorganisatoren. Der Teilnehmer erklärt sich ausdrücklich hiermit einverstanden.
§ 11 Rechtsmittel
Der Rechtsweg ist ausgeschlossen.
